We advise you to use Booking.com or Trip Advisor and look for a hotel near one of the metro stations of the line B (see link for the metro map below), between "Compans Caffarelli" and "Palais de Justice" (they are more centrical and the neighborhood is nicer). The metro stations for going to the campus are "Faculté de pharmacie" or "Université Paul Sabatier", and there will be about 10 minute-walk to the conference room from there.
You can also try the tourist office.
There is also the possibility to have cheap on campus student rooms by writing an email to hebergement.rangueil@crous-toulouse.fr (22€/night, add 20€ for sheets and 10€ for toilettry kit).
